I wish Prop 13 never happened

I really, honestly, deeply love my LA Cluster. It teaches me the most amazing things. We learned about Prop 13, and um, I want to re-kill Howard Jarvis (since he is already dead).
Without enough tax money, services are cut--torn--ripped--demolished! Our poor schools have the worst test scores, for Bejeezus' sake! Remember how Carey McWilliams, that boring journalist, boasted that Southern Californians were another breed--healthy bodies, unusually high IQs. Yah. Now everyone's obese and dumb.
That people are now used to paying low taxes, how is the government going to raise taxes again without causing an uproar? Can they and do they even want to? Oh yah, and they also can't do that because Prop 218 says voters have to approve taxes. It's good that some reigns are placed to control government power, but how is the government going to get things done without adequate resources? The deficits are just going to keep building and building. And I think that sucks butt.
