Obama Rally

So today, I was gonna go get a haircut. When I was walking to Bruin Walk, some lady stopped me and asked me for directions to Pauley. I was wondering... why? I thought it was the LAUSD Academic Decathlon. But as I approached Pauley, I heard some music going on. And as I rounded off to make the turn toward CTO, I saw a sign with Obama stickers plastered all over. And I'm like, "Ooh, maybe Obama will be here." And then I get to the turnabout and there are all these news crew vans! And then, I'm like, "Oooooh, maybe Obama will be here!" So I continue to the salons. Too bad they were either $20 or closed. Jeez, I'd rather go to Paul Mitchell. So I go back. On the way, I see a creepy homeless guy. He stares at me. And I start walking fast. Then behind me, I see him and I hurry up and walk away, trying to lose him. Oh my gosh, that scared the crap out of me. Back at Strathmore, I turn around to check if he's out of sight. Yes he is, thank goodness!
So I walk the backside of Pauley, and the door's open. And I'm like, "Ooh la la," I go inside. It's a black woman speaking, I don't see Obama anywhere. So I'm like, "Eh, whatever." Then I keep going, and she said something, "next First Lady," and I realized it was Michelle Obama. But then, I'm also like, but, it's not Barack. So I leave. Then I check online to see if Obama was there. He's not! But Oprah and Caroline Kennedy will be there! So I get out just so I could hear Oprah. But when I get in, I hear Maria Shriver's voice. I'm like "Whoa. Now I know she's a Kennedy and not a "Schwah-zeh-neh-gah." I listen to her, and she's rallying California. I loved that part. But she also said, "This isn't about somebody else telling you how to vote."
"Really?" Not the right time to use that line, Ma'am. You got Oprah. You got yourself and Caroline; both of you are from perhaps the most influential family in America--Camelot, the Kennedys. Puh-leez! You are endorsing Obama. You know your place in endorsing; you know your influence. It is about somebody else telling you how to vote! But really she made a good speech. She's a journalist, I'd expect that. But I saw all these people, they just looked so cool, so up for change. So frickin loud! Man, they were passionate.

And so, now, I really am in a dilemma. I was initially a Hillary fan. But now, I am torn. Gotta do some research. Election is on Tuesday! Oh and Stevie Wonder was there. I didn't see him though.

I am obligated to include this quote. As it is very pertinent.
“There was another time, when another young candidate was running for President and challenging America to cross a New Frontier. He faced public criticism from the preceding Democratic President, who was widely respected in the party. Harry Truman said we needed ’someone with greater experience’—and added: ‘May I urge you to be patient.’ And John Kennedy replied: ‘The world is changing. The old ways will not do…It is time for a new generation of leadership.’ So it is with Barack Obama. He has lit a spark of hope amid the fierce urgency of now.”
Just enlightening. Started my fuss.
