Political views

Taking some time to clarify my views.
Honestly, in this election, I haven't exactly been listening in on the candidates' specific stances on views. I mean, I understand generally their views, because Duh, this is politics and the presidential candidate, when selected must follow their party's policies. A Dem is a Dem is a Dem is a Dem. Mutiny be upon ye if ye turn on your party. So I know I'm a diehard Dem. So yah, of course, I'm gonna support my candidate.

I know the big issues here are war and economy. I have lost faith in government's ability to "control" either, so that has really deterred me from keeping up with the election as closely as I should have been. First of all, I don't think we should have gone to war with Iraq, not having found Osama. What was the hurrah with finding Saddam? Osama is still playing Hide n Seek. And the economy, I hate Reaganomics. I hate how prevalent it is in today's America. I believe government can be responsible with money. I just hate the fact that politicians have the heart to shortchange our education system just to fit it within the "budget-deficit" scheme. Politicians today have a fundamental wrong in their motives in trying gain a foothold in Public Service. Most of them are just really corrupt people on a power trip. We need massive government reform. We also need to reshape the American people because everybody is anti-government nowadays. Everyone is in fear, fallen victim to Bush's fear-mongering. No One trusts any One. It's truly tragic.

In the way he speaks, I feel that Obama really has what it takes. I'm not just talking communication style. But once again I have to give Obama props for intertwining basic anthropological ideas. Like the fact that race is a cultural construction and it doesn't matter, and if only people understood that... If only people were able to get past their differences to strive for a better world.

Obama forever.
