I made a pastel illustration of a peacock yesterday. Considerably smaller than the watercolored one I did last year with Ms. Nakano. But I finished it in 2 hours or so. So the feathers look really crappy. That's my problem. I love art, but I am never patient enough with it to take it in stages. Once I start it, I really want to finish it before I get tired of wanting to do it. Same with my blog. Once in a while, I'll have a post that I really am crazy with the idea of. But I usually get sick of writing after half an hour, so I rush rush. The end result is some incoherent piece of crap. In any case, I love art. I will continue to do it. I will just need to learn some patience. Learn to set aside a drawing until I get that artistic urge again. Learn to save that blog post for until I get my ideas flowing, get over writer's bloc and get over that Oh I'm tired of this crap.
Anyways I'm going to Pasadena today and I am excited. I want to get those $5.80 long t-shirts. I may want to return my black shirt. Not sure.
